Liability issues and solutions in the event sector @ EventManufaktur
Jun 18 um 12:21 – 12:37

Event planners love cultural property @ EventManufactory
Jun 18 um 15:21 – 15:50

The boom in events, conferences and congresses has led to a sharp rise in the number of event enquiries for cultural property. This is connected, among other things, with the increasingly important storytelling of an event.

Speaker: Bernd Fritzges (VDVO e.V.),

The Hit Formel – be inspired by musik @ EventManufactory

Creativity is the basis of goal-oriented communication.
Music as a metaphor, as a source of inspiration is the perfect anchor. In an interactive keynote talk, listeners learn how to be inspired by their favourite song and band in order to optimise their own creativity and the creativity and joy of communication of others.

Sustainability at the German Film Award. SUSTAINEVENT – the management system for sustainable events @ EventManufactory
Jun 19 um 12:21 – 12:37

Sustainability, social and societal responsibility are no longer foreign words in the German film industry. So there is nothing more obvious than that the German Film Academy, with its largest annual event, wants to live up to the expectations of its approximately 2,000 members. To ensure that the awards of the German Film Award can be implemented in a sustainable manner in the future, a system is used that is tailored to events.

Speaker: Jürgen May,

MICE – online sales: Welcome to the Jungle @ EventManufactory
Jun 19 um 15:21 – 15:50

The current uncertainty is great! Distribution-oriented natives of the hotel and location scene now have to defend direct sales because external distribution costs like hyenas eat up large parts of the profit margins. The next vultures are already appearing in the sky. While in the course of the evolution an almost harmonious living together with already established on-line portals developed, the emergence of new investor-driven kind comrades provides for an apparently ever more threatening situation in the MICE jungle. But does it help if Tarzan and Jane climb from liana to liana and warn the inhabitants of the jungle with yodelled “digitalization bashing”? Certainly not!
This lecture is an inventory of the portal world and its users and provides information about the changes and dynamics of recent developments.

Speaker: Bernd Fritzges (VDVO e.V.),

Theatre for guest performers as event locations @ EventManufactory
Jun 19 um 16:21 – 16:37

Not every municipality in Germany has its own theatre. This applies in particular to the small and medium-sized centres, which on the one hand have different types of venues (theatres, town halls, cultural centres, congress centres, etc.), but on the other hand do not operate theatres as “multi-specialty houses” with permanent artistic staff. Theatre guest performances are an alternative in this case.

Speaker: Bernward Tuchmann (INTHEGA e.V.),

Jun 20 um 12:21 – 12:37

Traveling companies and productions require a special degree of hospitality.
This does not begin with the reception or delivery. This topic is dealt with in greater depth in the guidelines developed within the DTHG symposium. This lecture would like to roll out the red carpet for theatre and event enthusiasts of all kinds.

Speaker: Johannes Böhner (BWKI – Bühnenplanung Walter Kottke Ingenieure GmbH),
